1 DA 003 Filippo

I come from far 1989 like citizen band user with call "SBIRRO". During 1990 i do my first DX (qso long distance) in 27.315 FM with Alan48. Always in this year i have bougth my first rtx with lateral bands: President Jackson and mantova1 on the top of buidling where i live. My first call on eleven is "SIERRA BRAVO" -SB- My first registration to a group took place in 1990 "Alfa November" of PROVA (VR) with the callsign 1AN242. During 1991 i known on ssb dx band Alessandro  ex 1AT1576 (silent key at 17 years old in  1992) introduce me about one of the most import radio group. In 1st April 1991 i am 1AT1408. Renewal membership was about 70.000 Lire. 1994 is the date of my first rtx hf ICOM IC-737A. In 1995 i change call for vanity hi!>>> 1AT387.  1996 is the year in which I obtain the amateur radio license but the attachment to band 11 will remain strong. 2002 August I broadcast /IL7 Tremiti island (San Domino and San Nicola is).  2003 is the year of my first dx activity outside Europe in Maputo Mocambique (204 division) at the home of the never forgotten Silvano (C91A). Aldo 1AT1 (unique and irreplaceable AT President) gave me the printout of the QSL card. In 2006 I came into possession of the magnificent YAESU FT-1000MP "field" rtx... 2012 I am hosted by Max (1DA004) in Mindelo Cabo Verde and i am operating vacation style as /205....1AT387 was been my call till 2022. For further vanity after more 30 years membership my new call is 1AT38. During the years 1994-2022 I was always fascinated by taking part in the "Italian contest" and after a lot of effort I finally managed to win it as a single operator three times (2008-2012-2015) and as a multi-operator in 2022... February 2021 Aldo "the President" dies and the vultures "buy" the group. In 2023 I organize the "solo" expedition to Togo (164) all by myself. The satisfaction is great and the fun on the radio is guaranteed. All is ok when 1st October 2024 it's time for a change of scenery and to belong to the fascinating DA. I enjoy on DA - RC with call 1DA003. After 9 months of preparations, November 2024 is the time for my second "solo" expedition: Andaman&Nicobar Is (253) not active since 1999. First time in Asia and a beautiful, unforgettable experience...
